Role Summary

The Finance Intern is responsible for managing financial records and supporting the finance team. This role involves a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency of financial operations within the organization.

Job Description

As a Finance Intern, you will engage in daily tasks that include managing incoming payments and updating cashflow records in a dynamic work environment. You will also assist in customer onboarding and maintain communication with shippers regarding documentation and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offset incoming payments within the system.
  • Update cashflow records accurately.
  • Maintain the Dispute Log for tracking issues.
  • Vet and add new customers or shippers to the platform.
  • Manage email correspondence with shippers regarding requested documentation.
  • Send out invoices and credit notes promptly.
  • Support the team with various ad-hoc administrative and financial tasks.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree, Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management or Management.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) and Google Suite (Spreadsheet & Forms).

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.

Possess own transportation for low-frequency travel.
