Role Summary

This internship provides students with hands-on experience in the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department of a leading logistics firm. The intern will support safety compliance, risk management, and employee awareness programs to ensure a safe workplace.

Job Description

The HSE Intern will assist the HSE Manager in achieving excellence by ensuring compliance with legal requirements and government regulations. Responsibilities include enforcing safety policies, conducting site inspections for risk identification, and participating in incident investigations to develop corrective actions. The role also involves supporting HSE training programs, communicating safety information to employees, and providing day-to-day administrative support to the HSE department.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any field.

No prior work experience is required; open to current university students.

Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken).

Must be willing to work on-site in Shah Alam for the duration of the placement.

Competent in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive and patient attitude.

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

High level of creativity, enthusiasm, and entrepreneurial flair.
