This internship role is for a Creative Media Intern who speaks Mandarin and is passionate about visual storytelling. The position involves working on social media projects and gaining practical experience in a dynamic team environment.
The Creative Media Intern will join the Social Media Team in Malaysia, focusing on content creation and visual storytelling for various social media platforms. This role involves designing graphics, videos, and collaborating with the team to elevate brand presence, primarily working with the digital marketing brand shakalakaa. The internship is hybrid with flexible working hours and offers a monthly allowance.
Basic knowledge and skills on photography and videography are required.
Basic knowledge and skills on photo editing and video editing are required.
Knowledge and skills on graphics design, as well as the use of Adobe Illustrator and/or Adobe Photoshop are added advantages.
Candidates with no relevant working experience are welcome.
Hands-on experience on social media management, specifically on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Xiaohongshu, is an added advantage.
Minimum SPM holder.
Students in Arts, Creative, Graphics Design, or Media disciplines have an added advantage.
Creativity and a keen eye for design.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with a cross-functional team.
Able to consistently meet deadlines, multi-tasking and problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Preferably to be able to travel to other states, including overseas (Singapore and Australia).
Proficient in both spoken and written English AND Mandarin.
Malay is an added advantage.
An intern period of three months or above is preferrable.
