Role Summary
This internship is for a videographer/editor who speaks Mandarin and will create visuals for social media. The role involves working with a team and offers an opportunity to develop skills while receiving a monthly allowance.
Job Description
The role is an internship position within the Social Media Team in Malaysia, focused on videography and editing for the digital marketing brand shakalakaa. The intern will work in a hybrid mode at the Kuala Lumpur office and remotely, collaborating with team members to produce and optimize visual content for various social media platforms.
Job Requirements
Basic knowledge and skills on photography and videography are required.
Basic knowledge and skills on photo editing and video editing are required.
Knowledge and skills on graphics design, as well as the use of Adobe Illustrator and/or Adobe Photoshop are added advantages.
Candidates with no relevant working experience are welcome.
Hands-on experience on social media management, specifically on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Xiaohongshu, is an added advantage.
Minimum SPM holder.
Students in Arts, Creative, Graphics Design, or Media disciplines have an added advantage.
Creativity and a keen eye for design.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with a cross-functional team.
Able to consistently meet deadlines, multi-tasking and problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Preferably to be able to travel to other states, including overseas (Singapore and Australia).
Proficient in both spoken and written English AND Mandarin.
Malay is an added advantage.
An intern period of three months or above is preferrable.
