This role is for a Cybersecurity Intern who will support the DPO/InfoSec team in improving the organization's security posture. The intern will assist with compliance, incident response, risk assessments, and secure operations while gaining practical experience in cybersecurity.
The role involves supporting the DPO/InfoSec team in enhancing TDG's security posture across cloud, endpoints, data, and processes. The candidate will assist in maintaining compliance with ISO 27001 controls and PDPA requirements while gaining experience in incident response, risk assessment, and secure operations. Responsibilities include conducting security checks on endpoints and cloud platforms, running network and asset discovery, performing guided security scans and triaging findings, contributing to risk and mitigation tracking, drafting and updating related policies and documentation, supporting security awareness activities, assisting incident response documentation, conducting vendor and security due diligence, and maintaining thorough records for audit preparedness.
Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT/Networking, or related field.
Basics in networks, operating systems, and identity access concepts.
Familiar with any of the following tools: Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, OpenVAS/Nessus, Wazuh/Splunk, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike/EDR (nice to have).
Awareness of OWASP Top 10, CIS Controls, NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001/27002, and PDPA (training will be provided).
Comfortable with documentation and simple scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python is a plus).
Clear communicator, detail-oriented, curious, and ethical.
