Role Summary
The Internship Production Intern is responsible for assisting the Production Supervisor with daily production operations. This role provides valuable exposure to manufacturing processes and quality control in a dynamic factory environment.
Job Description
The intern will engage in daily tasks that include monitoring production activities, recording machine downtime, and managing raw material usage. This position offers hands-on experience in production planning and quality assurance, while also fostering collaboration with various teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Production Supervisor in daily production operations.
- Monitor and record machine downtime and raw material usage.
- Support quality control checks to ensure product standards are met.
- Participate in process improvement projects.
- Manage Bill of Materials (BOM) for production planning.
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Maintenance teams.
- Adhere to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s student in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
Interest in manufacturing processes, production management, or chemical formulation.
Ability to work in a factory environment and willingness to learn hands-on.
Strong observation and data reporting skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Positive attitude, responsible, and eager to learn.
Internship duration minimum of 3 months, preferably 4 to 6 months.
