This internship role involves assisting with daily accounting tasks such as managing documents, supporting billing, and providing general support in accounting operations. The intern will work closely with various teams and be involved in tasks related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial documentation.
This role involves providing support in various accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. The person will prepare and sort invoices and payment documents, assist in data entry into accounting systems, and support monthly closing activities by compiling reports. Responsibilities also include maintaining proper filing of financial documents, ensuring completeness for audit requirements, and updating tracking sheets for invoices, payments, and claims. The role supports payment and billing processes by preparing billing documents and assisting in invoice and purchase order matching, as well as supporting customer statement of accounts and follow-ups. Additionally, the role involves verifying staff claims, processing expenses and petty cash reconciliation, gathering documents for audits while maintaining confidentiality, and working closely with multiple teams such as Accounts, Purchasing, Sales Admin, and Warehouse. Communication with suppliers or customers may be required under supervision, alongside providing administrative support for various finance-related tasks.
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Proficient in MS Excel / Google Sheets.
Good attention to detail and high accuracy.
Willingness to learn and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsible, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality.
