Job Description
The day-to-day work involves assisting in various quantity surveying tasks, including cost estimates and project documentation. The intern will work closely with experienced professionals and may attend site or office meetings as required.
Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the preparation of taking-off quantities and quantity calculations. - Support the preparation of cost estimates and budgets. - Help prepare Bill of Quantities (BQ) and tender documents. - Update project cost records and related reports. - Assist with contract administration tasks. - Attend site or office meetings as needed. - Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
Job Requirements
Candidates should be Diploma or Degree students in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related fields.
Basic knowledge of construction drawings and quantity calculations is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is necessary.
AutoCAD knowledge is considered an advantage.
Candidates must be interested in learning and building a career in quantity surveying.
The role requires discipline, responsibility, and the ability to work in a team.
