Job Description
The Social Media Intern will join the Social Media Team in Malaysia to gain hands-on experience managing clients' social media accounts and developing strategies to enhance their online presence. The role involves working primarily with the digital marketing brand shakalakaa and includes responsibilities like content creation, strategy planning, campaign analysis, client communication, and reporting, with a hybrid work mode based in Kuala Lumpur.
Job Requirements
Basic understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
Knowledge and understanding of digital marketing are added advantages.
Candidates with no relevant working experience are welcome; hands-on experience on social media marketing, specifically Facebook, Instagram and TikTok ads, is an added advantage.
Knowledge, experience and skills in graphic design and the use of Adobe Illustrator and/or Adobe Photoshop are added advantages.
Knowledge, experience and skills in photo and video shooting and editing are added advantages.
Minimum SPM holder; students in Advertising, Marketing, Media or Communications disciplines have an added advantage.
Creativity and a keen eye for design.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with a cross-functional team.
Able to consistently meet deadlines, multi-task, and problem-solve with strong attention to detail.
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in both spoken and written English and Mandarin; Malay is an added advantage.
An intern period of three months or above is preferable.
