Role Summary
The Credit Officer Risk Management for Institutional Clients is responsible for managing a credit portfolio primarily consisting of German corporates. This role involves working with a diverse range of clients, including multinational companies and various financial institutions across different economic sectors.
Job Description
In this position, you will engage in the day-to-day management of credit portfolios, conducting thorough analyses and making informed credit decisions. You will collaborate with a team in a dynamic environment that values diverse perspectives and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze individual financial and economic conditions of borrowers.
- Review and approve financial statement spreadings.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analysis within the rating process.
- Finalize ratings by setting probability of default (PD) ratings.
- Make appropriate credit decisions and approvals.
- Prepare sector analyses assessing banking system stability and risks.
- Evaluate supervision quality in various countries.
Job Requirements
Possess at least a degree in business economics, finance, accounting, or related studies.
Minimum 2 - 8 years of experience in credit risk analysis of institutional clients.
Experience in banking, financial investment, or banking share services industry.
Knowledge of global accounting standards and principles.
Good command of written and spoken English; additional language skills such as German are desirable.
Methodically structured working methods and ability to organize work independently.
