
The 3D Design Engineer role focuses on vehicle wiring harness design and development, including 3D design for vehicle-level wiring harness packaging. The position involves supporting new projects, handling technical and design activities, and may require travel to locations such as China or India.
The role involves developing and implementing product designs, specifically focusing on 3D design for vehicle-level wiring harness packaging. Responsibilities include routing quality checks, verifying electrical aggregates in DMU, preparing fitment drawings, providing solutions for design for assembly and manufacturing, maintaining technical documentation, supporting design activities at customer locations, defining electrical components, overseeing pilot builds, performing engineering judgments for permits, defining validation plans, maintaining customer relations, training technicians, and providing design leadership to meet customer deliverables accurately and completely. Additionally, the role requires leading and supporting quality verification control activities, proposing cost reduction and value analysis ideas, supporting component localization and supplier optimization, and assisting with new business quotations by preparing design documents and collaborating with other departments. Travel to China or India may be necessary.
At least 3 years of designer experiences in 3D mechanical drawing or other 3D engineering drawing.
Familiar with 3D CAD software.
Excellent in computer CAD design CATIA V5.
Basic knowledge of harness related components and passenger car system.
Excellent communication skill - fluent in English both oral and written.
Strong sense of responsibility and discipline.
Having a good personality, leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent in problem solving skills
