Role Summary

The Key Account Manager is responsible for maintaining customer relationships and managing yearly sales targets for assigned Key Accounts. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales growth within the organization.

Job Description

In this role, you will engage with customers as the primary contact, ensuring their needs are met while managing a strong project pipeline. You will collaborate with various departments to support customer profiles and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain customer relationships as the primary contact for assigned Key Accounts.
  • Manage yearly sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support customers with service recommendations and budget preparation.
  • Lead proposal preparation, including commercial and contract negotiations.
  • Coordinate with various departments for customer profile management and contract administration.
  • Negotiate variation orders and assist in customer payment follow-ups.
  • Work on-site as required to fulfill contract obligations.
  • Prepare purchase requests and notify teams of order confirmations.
  • Coordinate travel and administrative arrangements for international dispatches.

Job Requirements

Possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or relevant field.

Around 5 years working experience with a technical background as Sales or Engineer for Powerplant.

Proficiency in English (especially speaking and writing).

Must have technical knowledge related to power plants.

Preferably candidates from the thermal or hydro power plant industry.

Good communicator and team player.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with limited supervision.

Japanese language is an added advantage.
