
The Kitchen Helper is responsible for supporting the kitchen operations by preparing ingredients and maintaining cleanliness. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of the kitchen and contributes to the overall dining experience at Zakuro Japanese Cuisine.
As a Kitchen Helper at Zakuro Japanese Cuisine, you will engage in various tasks that support the culinary team in delivering high-quality Japanese dishes. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in food preparation and service. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare meal ingredients by washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and proteins. - Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas by ensuring all dishes and utensils are cleaned and stored properly. - Pack take-out orders accurately and efficiently. - Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively. - Manage waste disposal in accordance with food safety standards. - Assist chefs with cooking tasks as needed. - Uphold food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Certificate / Diploma in Culinary Art or Food & Beverage
SPM with relevant experience may apply
Working experience in beverage / restaurant service is required
Working experience in Japanese restaurant preferred
Able to work on shift hours, weekends, and public holidays
