The Labor and Employment Counsel Manager is responsible for providing strategic and pragmatic legal advice on employment matters. This role impacts internal stakeholders by ensuring compliance and managing legal risks across the Southeast Asia region.
In this role, you will engage with HR and leadership to address employment-related legal issues while overseeing litigation and supporting transactional matters. You will also develop internal guidelines and manage relationships with external counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualified lawyer with post-qualification experience in Employment Law.
Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
Experience in private practice or in-house legal environments.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Strong project management and time management skills.
