
The Lecturer (Hospitality) is responsible for delivering high-quality education in hospitality and tourism subjects. This role significantly impacts student learning and industry engagement through innovative teaching and curriculum development.
The Lecturer will engage in day-to-day teaching activities, including delivering lectures, tutorials, and practical classes in hospitality and tourism. The work environment is dynamic, involving collaboration with students, faculty, and industry partners to enhance educational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Master's Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Culinary Arts, or a related field is required, with a PhD preferred.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., JPK, TVET, HACCP, ServSafe) are an advantage.
Minimum 2–5 years of teaching or relevant industry experience is required.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required.
Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into classroom delivery is required.
Passion for student development and industry engagement is required.
Experience with curriculum development and accreditation processes is preferred.
