Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Star Media Group Berhad

The Licensed Aircraft Engineer is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of workmanship in aircraft maintenance tasks. This role ensures compliance with manufacturer and company requirements while supervising non-certifying staff to uphold quality and safety standards.

In this role, the Licensed Aircraft Engineer will engage in day-to-day aircraft maintenance activities, ensuring all tasks are performed to the highest standards. The engineer will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with a team to maintain aircraft safety and airworthiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain high standards of workmanship in aircraft maintenance.
• Ensure all work is recorded and certified by authorized engineers.
• Issue Certificates of Release to Service after maintenance completion.
• Keep accurate Operator’s aircraft Journey Logs following company and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct duties in accordance with the Maintenance Organization Exposition and company procedures.
• Supervise non-certifying Licensed Aircraft Engineers and Technicians to maintain quality.
• Observe safety instructions and ensure a safe working environment.
• Provide safety instructions as necessary and respond to safety concerns by taking appropriate actions and reporting hazards.
