The role is for a Licensed Aircraft Engineer responsible for maintaining aircraft to high standards according to manufacturer and company requirements. The position involves ensuring proper documentation and certification of maintenance work, supervising staff, and upholding safety protocols within the aviation maintenance environment.
The Licensed Aircraft Engineer is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of workmanship in aircraft maintenance tasks in line with manufacturer and company requirements. The role includes ensuring all work is properly documented and certified by authorized engineers, issuing Certificates of Release to Service following maintenance or repairs, and maintaining accurate Operator’s aircraft Journey Logs as per company and airworthiness authority standards. The engineer also supervises non-certifying staff to uphold workmanship quality and ensures safety protocols are observed and enforced, addressing any safety concerns or hazards appropriately.
Maintain high standards of workmanship in aircraft maintenance.
Ensure all work is recorded and certified by authorized engineers.
Issue Certificates of Release to Service after maintenance completion.
Keep accurate Operator’s aircraft Journey Logs following company and regulatory requirements.
Conduct duties in accordance with the Maintenance Organization Exposition and company procedures.
Supervise non-certifying Licensed Aircraft Engineers and Technicians to maintain quality.
Observe safety instructions and ensure a safe working environment.
Provide safety instructions as necessary and respond to safety concerns by taking appropriate actions and reporting hazards.
