As a Security Guard at Star Media Group, you will engage in daily tasks that include monitoring surveillance systems, conducting regular patrols, and managing access control at entry points. You will respond to incidents promptly and assist staff and visitors while ensuring a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor surveillance systems to detect and respond to security breaches.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.
- Manage access control at entry points to restrict unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies as they arise.
- Maintain detailed security logs and reports of daily activities.
- Provide assistance to staff and visitors while ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Job Requirements
Previous experience in a security or law enforcement role.
Knowledge of basic security procedures and emergency protocols.
Ability to operate CCTV and surveillance equipment.
Strong observation skills and high level of alertness.
Good communication skills in both Malay and English.
Physical fitness required for patrolling and standing for long periods.
Disciplined, punctual, and able to work in a shift-based environment.
