Role Summary

The Safety and Health Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with health regulations. This role involves conducting safety training, audits, and emergency response coordination to promote workplace safety and health standards.

Job Description

In this position, the Safety and Health Officer will engage in daily activities that include training staff and conducting safety audits to ensure compliance with regulations. The officer will also facilitate meetings and training sessions related to safety and health matters at the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Propose safe work method statements and obtain necessary permits to work.
  • Conduct safety training for staff and workers.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and health requirements through periodic checks and audits.
  • Facilitate toolbox meetings, briefings, and training related to safety and health matters.
  • Coordinate emergency response activities and report to appropriate authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with permit to work procedures.
  • Analyze incidents and provide recommendations for accident prevention.

Job Requirements

Possess JKKP Green Book.

Have three years of experience as a Safety and Health Officer (SHO).

Be able to start work immediately.
