Role Summary
The M&E Supervisor / Engineer (Construction) is responsible for leading and overseeing the progress of mechanical and electrical works on construction projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that projects meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
Job Description
In this role, you will be actively involved in the day-to-day management of mechanical and electrical works on construction sites, ensuring compliance with client requirements and quality standards. You will work closely with a team of workers, conducting site inspections and managing project schedules and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee mechanical and electrical works on construction projects.
- Perform site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Resolve technical issues promptly to maintain project timelines.
- Manage project schedules, tasks, budgets, and estimates.
- Develop Mechanical and Electrical plans for projects.
- Identify and resolve project issues and risks effectively.
- Prepare progress reports and status updates for stakeholders.
- Conduct project meetings and site visits to monitor progress.
Job Requirements
Candidate shall possess a minimum Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor Degree or equivalent in M&E Engineering, Construction Management, M&E, or a related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of working experience is required in construction, project supervision, or a related field.
Work experience on high rise construction is an added advantage.
Candidates shall have analytical skills to handle multiple tasks by priority under pressure.
Travelling around Johor area is required.
