
The Site Safety and Health Officer (Construction) is responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a safe working environment throughout construction projects by conducting inspections, providing training, and promoting a culture of safety.
In this role, you will engage in daily activities that involve conducting inspections, risk assessments, and safety training for employees and contractors. You will work closely with various teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and foster a proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Certified Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with relevant qualification (Greenbook Holder).
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety and Health Officer in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and industry best practices.
Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential safety risks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in relevant safety software and tools.
Fluent in both written and spoken English and Malay.
