Role Summary

This role includes overseeing preventive maintenance and repairs as part of the Engineering and Technical Services function within CBRE Global Workplace Solutions. The position is based in Pulau Pinang.

Job Description

The Maintenance & Operations Manager is responsible for managing a team that implements, coordinates, and manages all mechanical and electrical operations for a facility, campus, or portfolio of buildings. This role involves providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems, as part of the Engineering and Technical Services function within CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS).

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.

In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Membership of an Engineering related professional body i.e. CIBSE/ IEE preferred.

Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

Excellent client relationship skills.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
