Role Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of building maintenance repairs and services. This role ensures the proper functioning of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other systems within the hospitality environment.

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician engages in daily maintenance tasks, ensuring that all systems are operational and well-maintained. The technician works in a dynamic environment, responding to maintenance requests and performing preventive maintenance to uphold service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on building systems.
  • Conduct plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Inspect and service air-conditioning units.
  • Supervise and check all MEP installations for proper functioning.
  • Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Inspect lighting, fittings, and sanitary installations.
  • Execute carpentry, masonry, painting, and welding tasks as needed.

Job Requirements

At least 2 years of relevant working experience.

Possess a certificate in PW2/PW4 is an added advantage.

Minimum SPM or IKM Tahap 3 qualification.

Good discipline and a positive attitude.

Ability to start work immediately.
