
The Manager of Terminal Operations (Compliance & Experience) oversees passenger experience and ensures compliance with regulations, enhancing terminal efficiency and safety while addressing customer feedback and collaborating with stakeholders.
Job Description POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY Managing the overall passenger experience within the airport terminal while ensuring that operation comply with all relevant regulations and standards in maintaining a safe and efficient terminal environment ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS Terminal Experience Enhancing the overall passenger experience within the airport terminal. Managing and improving customer service initiatives to ensure passenger satisfaction. Collaborating with various stakeholders to create a seamless and pleasant experience for passengers, including managing amenities, facilities, and services within the terminal. Implementing strategies to streamline passenger flow, reduce wait times, and enhance overall terminal efficiency. Monitoring and addressing passenger feedback and complaints to continuously improve the terminal experience. Compliance Ensuring that the airport terminal operations comply with relevant regulations and standards set by aviation authorities, government agencies, and industry guidelines. Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational requirements. Conducting regular audits, inspections, and assessments to identify and address potential compliance issues. Keeping up-to-date with changes in regulations and working proactively to ensure the terminal's compliance with new requirements. Collaborating with regulatory bodies, airport security, and other relevant stakeholders to address compliance issues and implement necessary changes. Administrative Contract management - Manage and monitor terminal operations contracts i.e. contract renewal, review, and performance monitoring, to ensures that the processes are handled efficiently and effectively, maximizing value for the organization and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. Administrative Oversight: Managing administrative functions to smooth the day-today operations. Oversee administrative tasks, including asset management, procurement and vendor relationships to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure that resources are effectively utilized. Key Challenges To oversee that the airport environment and facilties are able to ensure the following: Safety and Security environment No long queue Efficiency of check in counter and bay allocation On time departure Fast baggage delivery Clean toilets Servicable facilities Managing complaints and feedback. Skills General working knowledge of aviation requirement of international airports Fundamental aviation knowledge and experiences Education External Degree in preferably in Aviation Management/Airport Operations Management/ Transportation or related field Master Degree would be an added advantage Relevant Industries External Degree with minimum 5 years relevant experience.
