Malaysia Airports was established in 1992 as a corporatised entity with the mission to manage and operate airports across Malaysia. The company made history in 1999 by becoming the first Asian airport operator to go public, marking a significant milestone in the aviation industry. Over the years, Malaysia Airports has expanded its operations to encompass 39 airports, which include five international airports, 16 domestic airports, and 18 Short Take-Off and Landing Ports (STOL Ports), as well as an international airport in Istanbul, Turkey.
