The Market Financial Controller - North Asia is responsible for overseeing financial operations and ensuring compliance across the region. This role plays a critical part in financial reporting, risk management, and collaboration with various operational teams to enhance financial performance.

In this role, you will engage in daily financial management activities, ensuring effective control and compliance within financial statements. You will work closely with the Market Finance Director and various operational teams to streamline processes and enhance financial reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure effective control and compliance within financial statements.
• Oversee risk management processes and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor statutory audit and tax deadlines for timely submissions.
• Streamline organizational structures, including entity liquidation or amalgamation.
• Manage month-end close activities and group reporting processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on operational projects.
• Facilitate the adoption of accounting standards such as local GAAP and International Accounting Standards.
• Provide inputs on monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Handle ad-hoc financial duties including payment approvals and cash flow forecast reviews.
