Job Description
The Mechanic will engage in daily vehicle repair and maintenance tasks, ensuring adherence to safety standards and procedures. The role involves monitoring repair performance and assisting in the overall operations of the workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate vehicle repair and maintenance work.
- Ensure all repairs are conducted according to safety procedures and standards.
- Monitor repair performance and assist in daily operations.
- Maintain workshop documentation and records.
- Advise customers on vehicle issues and necessary repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Lead and mentor junior mechanics in the workshop.
Job Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Automotive) or equivalent.
Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) in Automotive, minimum Level 3.
Over 5 years of experience in vehicle mechanics (4X4, tractors, trucks preferred).
Strong understanding of safety and health practices in the workshop.
Good communication skills with customers.
Familiarity with workshop documentation and audit requirements.
Commitment to continuous improvement and 5S practices.
