Role Summary
The O2C Senior Specialist - Collections is responsible for managing the credit control process and ensuring timely collection of outstanding cash. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the financial health of the organization by overseeing account receivables and client invoicing.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in daily interactions with clients to collect outstanding payments while analyzing trade receivables. You will work closely with internal teams to manage invoicing and address any issues related to bad debts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and implement the credit control process.
- Analyze the ageing of trade receivables to identify collection opportunities.
- Collect outstanding cash by sending reminders and making calls to clients.
- Maximize the value of third-party spend for the business.
- Manage Regional Account Receivables effectively.
- Oversee the client invoicing process to ensure accuracy.
- Handle bad debts through collaboration with internal teams and clients.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit control or collections.
Strong analytical skills with experience in managing account receivables.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
