Role Summary
The Packaged App Development Specialist is responsible for developing and supporting core banking systems. This role significantly impacts the delivery of payment solutions, particularly in Local and Bill Payments, while collaborating with business teams.
Job Description
In this position, you will engage in technical development on the AS400 platform using RPG, focusing on remittance systems and payment solutions. You will also conduct code reviews and work closely with business teams to ensure effective delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain core banking applications on the AS400 platform.
- Support remittance systems and ensure their functionality.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and standards.
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and deliver payment solutions.
- Implement and manage Local and Bill Payment systems.
- Utilize DevOps tools and processes for efficient development.
- Automate software deployment using ALDON on AS400.
- Ensure code quality and version control using ARCAD.
Job Requirements
6-9 years of experience in core banking application development.
Expertise in AS400 platform and RPG language.
Experience with DB2 databases.
Strong understanding of Local and Bill Payment systems.
Familiarity with Cash Management/Rate Provision or GIRO and Instant Payments.
Good knowledge or experience in Remittance systems.
Exposure to DevOps tools and processes.
