
The Project Engineer, Project OEM is responsible for coordinating and tracking OEM programme milestones. This role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure project schedules are met and documentation is prepared for customer engagement.
As a Project Engineer, you will engage in day-to-day project management activities, ensuring that all milestones are tracked and communicated effectively. You will work in a dynamic environment, liaising with cross-functional teams to support project objectives. *Key Responsibilities:* - Coordinate and track OEM programme milestones across all active projects. - Maintain schedules and action logs to ensure timely project delivery. - Liaise with various teams to consolidate project updates. - Support the preparation of RFQ and RFI documentation. - Engage with customers by preparing necessary project documentation. - Monitor programme risks and maintain accurate project records. - Prepare status reports for management review.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Automotive) or a related technical field.
3–5 years of relevant experience in project engineering, manufacturing, or automotive/industrial project environments.
Strong knowledge of project coordination tools and scheduling methods (e.g. MS Project or equivalent).
Good communication and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Understanding of automotive quality processes, including APQP and PPAP.
