Role Summary
The Regional Technical Operations Lead, Non-Coffee Category is responsible for leading beverage innovation and team development. This role drives the New Product Development process from insights to launch, ensuring operational scalability and quality compliance in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of beverage innovation, mentoring junior R&D staff and managing supplier relationships. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet food safety standards and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead beverage innovation initiatives to enhance product offerings.
- Drive the New Product Development process from concept to launch.
- Mentor and develop junior R&D staff to build a strong team.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and compliance.
- Ensure operational scalability in beverage production.
- Conduct sensory benchmarking to maintain high standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on product goals.
Job Requirements
Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinology or related field.
Minimum 5+ years in F&B R&D, preferably in a fast-paced retail chain.
At least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of cafe-scene and beverage sensory benchmarking.
Familiarity with food safety and regulatory compliance.
