Role Summary
The SAP ABAP role is responsible for independently performing tasks and becoming a subject matter expert in SAP ABAP. This position plays a crucial role in contributing to solutions for work-related challenges and enhancing application functionality.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day tasks that involve building and configuring software solutions while collaborating with team members. You will also be responsible for developing and testing new components or enhancements to existing applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks independently and become a subject matter expert in SAP ABAP.
- Participate in discussions to contribute to solutions for work-related challenges.
- Build and configure packaged software and Software as a Service products.
- Develop and test new components or enhancements to existing applications.
- Utilize declarative features to enhance application functionality.
- Provide primary support for application releases into production.
- Plan and schedule deployment activities for application releases.
Job Requirements
Strong knowledge and expertise in SAP ABAP.
Ability to work independently and participate in team discussions.
Experience in building and configuring packaged software and Software as a Service products.
Skills in developing and testing new components or enhancements to existing applications.
Capability to utilize declarative features to enhance application functionality.
Experience in supporting application releases into production, including deployment planning and scheduling.
