SAP Project Manager – Cognizant Malaysia

The SAP Project Manager is responsible for leading a strategic technical refresh initiative. This role involves driving the roadmap planning for upgrading SAP ECC 6.0 and coordinating multiple source system integrations for a bank while ensuring alignment with governance, security, and regulatory standards.

The SAP Project Manager will oversee day-to-day project activities, collaborating closely with the bank's IT and business teams. This position requires a proactive approach to managing complex projects in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic planning for upgrading SAP ECC 6.0 from EHP5 to EHP8.
• Coordinate the upgrade of servers' operating systems and databases from on-premise to a cloud platform.
• Manage multiple source system integrations for the bank.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure project alignment with governance and security standards.
• Identify risks and proactively resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including C-level executives.
• Ensure project delivery meets regulatory standards and business goals.
