The Seafood Restaurant Waiter/Waitress is responsible for greeting and seating guests, providing detailed menu information, taking and delivering orders accurately, and serving food and drinks in a timely manner. The role requires monitoring guest satisfaction, processing payments, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area, and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Previous work experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a similar food service role is preferred (at least 1 year).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Bahasa Malaysia are required.
Mandarin speaking is an added advantage.
A customer-oriented approach and a friendly, positive attitude are essential.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry heavy trays of food and dishes.
Strong time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills to handle a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is a plus.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per restaurant needs.
