The Senior Executive – Contracts position in Subang Jaya, Selangor involves managing contractual claims, bids, and negotiations for construction projects. The role requires adherence to industry standards and involves significant autonomy and creativity.
The Senior Executive – Contracts is responsible for managing contractual claims and preparing related documentation professionally. This role includes handling data collection, compiling full and final claims, reviewing and administering contractual proposals, and ensuring all necessary approvals and company procedures are followed. The incumbent also prepares bids, negotiates specifications for materials and services, issues certificates of practical completion and interim certificates, drafts amendments and variations to contracts, and reviews client documentation or contracts. Additionally, the role involves advising on business structures, managing developmental applications with local councils and courts, reviewing insurance requirements, processing payment requests, managing the bidding process, sourcing cost estimates, and obtaining approvals for contract changes.
Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in consultant or construction industry.
Familiar with Quantity Surveying standards, policies and procedures.
Team player with good communication skills, creativity and performance-driven approach.
Diligent, independent and resourceful.
