Job Description
The role involves ensuring compliance with Malaysian laws and regulations for the REIT, including liaising with the Trustee on legal matters and regulatory reporting. Responsibilities include advising on contractual issues, drafting legal documents, and supporting corporate governance initiatives. The candidate will also engage with the Securities Commission and ensure compliance in periodic reports.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Law or equivalent professional qualification.
Certified Compliance Officer (mandatory).
Proven experience in compliance, preferably in the financial or real estate sector.
Strong knowledge of relevant Malaysian laws and regulations.
Familiarity with the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance.
Excellent analytical and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
