The Senior Security Operation Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing security operations strategies to protect the organization's IT infrastructure and data. This role involves leading efforts for threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and managing security tools and technologies. The engineer will also contribute to policy development, mentor junior staff, collaborate with various teams, stay updated on emerging threats, manage cloud infrastructure and security, develop automation solutions, and work with global teams to ensure consistent security service delivery.
Job Requirements
Strong understanding of security operations and threat detection.
Experience with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Ability to manage security tools such as SIEM, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
Knowledge of security policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Skills in mentoring and leading junior security staff.
Ability to collaborate effectively with IT, network, and application teams.
Awareness of emerging security threats and trends.
Experience in cloud infrastructure deployment and cloud security management.
