Role Summary
The Site Safety Supervisor is responsible for implementing and monitoring safety and health policies on construction sites. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a strong safety culture within the team.
Job Description
The Site Safety Supervisor will oversee daily safety inspections and ensure that all safety protocols are followed on-site. This position requires effective communication and coordination with various stakeholders, particularly in a multilingual environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement safety and health policies on construction sites.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify hazards.
- Prepare detailed safety reports for management review.
- Promote a strong safety culture among workers and supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate safety training sessions for site personnel.
- Respond to safety incidents and conduct investigations as necessary.
Job Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in site safety or health management (construction or engineering background preferred).
Possess valid Safety and Health certification (e.g., Site Safety Supervisor Certificate / SHO Registration recognized by DOSH).
Familiar with local safety regulations and documentation procedures.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Able to communicate in Chinese (Mandarin) preferred.
Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently on site.
Must be willing to work at construction sites.
