This role is for a Software Quality Analyst I at Cognizant in Seattle, focusing on quality assurance in software and hardware including AI-related technologies. The position involves test planning, execution, and analysis to ensure functionality and reliability of client products such as phones, tablets, and AI assistants.
The Software Quality Analyst I role involves working with large language model validation to ensure accuracy and reliability across different models. The position includes creating and curating diverse test cases, monitoring and triaging pipeline failures, and conducting end-to-end functional, regression, and manual testing on client software and hardware such as phones, tablets, watches, and AI personal assistants. The role also entails performing test planning, test case development, manual test execution, and analyzing test failures to file detailed defect reports.
3+ years of professional work experience in Blackbox Quality Assurance, with experience in software testing, AI technologies or LLM evaluation.
Knowledge of data analysis and strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
Proficiency in test planning, test design, test authoring, and execution.
Experience analyzing test results, identifying defects, troubleshooting, and filing detailed defect reports.
Meticulous with attention to detail.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies is preferred.
Previous experience with annotation and data analytics is a plus.
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools is advantageous.
Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment.
Curious and proactive with a strong willingness to learn and explore.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is nice to have.
