Job Description
The Sonographer is responsible for delivering polite, efficient, and prompt ultrasound services to patients. This role also ensures that all sonographic services are readily available to the radiologist or consultants for diagnosis and reporting. Key responsibilities include performing ultrasound scans, maintaining equipment, and providing high-quality patient care.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Medical Imaging, Ultrasound or equivalent
Registered with a relevant professional body
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in ultrasound imaging
Proficiency in performing a variety of ultrasound examinations
Competency in advanced ultrasound modalities is an advantage
Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control practices
Ability to manage emergency cases and prioritize tasks effectively
Compassionate, patient-centered attitude
