Job Description
The STS Vendor Master Data Specialist plays a crucial role within the Global Business Solutions organization, specifically in the Source to Settle (StS) process. This position is responsible for overseeing the qualification, analysis, accuracy, and change control of Vendor Master Data to ensure timely and efficient processing of employee purchase orders, supplier invoices, and payments. The specialist works independently to manage master data issues, collaborates with operational and information stewards, and provides recommendations to improve workflow and capitalize on automation opportunities.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting or Finance or related fields preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years' relevant work experience.
Knowledge of VMD platforms required.
Broad understanding and knowledge of applicable business processes including end-to-end process use of data and lifecycle of data (creation to use to inactivation).
Fluency oral and written communication in English required.
Teamwork and collaborative focus, customer service oriented.
Ability to function in a high-volume setting with tight deadlines.
Attention to details and accuracy focus.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
Good communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders’ requests in an efficient and assertive manner.
Positive, engaging disposition with high personal integrity, credibility, and energy.
Business level of Spanish / Portuguese / Japanese / Arabic language (both written and spoken) Preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills that are effective with various cultures.
SAP Experience.
Intermediate to Advanced PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Possess a high degree of integrity and personal ethics in implementing corporate policies and procedures.
Strong customer service and collaboration mind-set.
Willingness to attend or conduct remote meetings during off hours (<5% of the time).
