System Administrator – Accenture Malaysia

The role involves maintaining computer systems to ensure their smooth operation. The position includes working with Linux and Windows systems and focuses on problem-solving, security enhancement, and user support.

The Senior System Administrator (SA) is responsible for provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This role includes managing Linux and Windows systems supporting the organization's core information systems, ensuring their stability, integrity, and efficient operation. The SA participates in technical research and development to drive innovation within the infrastructure and provides guidance for new system administrators to facilitate smooth onboarding. The position also involves managing server infrastructure services, including monitoring, patching, and system management, as well as designing, engineering, and maintaining IT security tools and processes. The SA performs technical troubleshooting, supports incident resolution, maintains technical documentation for audit purposes, shares knowledge with new resources, develops and deploys enterprise security plans, and works as part of a team providing 24/7 support when required.
