Job Description
The Consultant in the Corporate Strategy team at Deloitte will support the Southeast Asia leadership teams and stakeholders in advancing strategic priorities aligned with the firm's vision. The role involves supporting the firm's strategy and planning agenda across corporate strategy, corporate development, and competitive intelligence, including research, data analysis, market scans, due diligence, business case development, and monitoring market trends. The Consultant is expected to act as a leader by seeking development opportunities, respecting colleagues, aligning priorities with stakeholder goals, collaborating to deliver results, building relationships, offering insights, and promoting opportunities for improvement.
Job Requirements
Candidates must have a recognized degree from a top-tier academic institution.
Candidates should have experience in corporate development, corporate strategy, or investments related roles from professional services or boutique advisory environments.
Candidates must have at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Candidates must demonstrate adaptability and a "can do" attitude to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a strong willingness to learn and contribute to a high-performance culture.
Candidates must have advanced knowledge in Excel-based financial modeling and exceptional problem-solving ability including logical reasoning, creative thinking, and the ability to untangle complex issues.
Candidates should be experienced in structuring and developing presentation materials for formal internal and external communications.
Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills to establish relationships with working-level stakeholders.
Prior experience in Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development or a similar analytical role will be an advantage.
This position is based in Malaysia and requires minimal travel.
Applicants must currently reside in and be authorized to work in Malaysia; relocation support is not provided.
