The Tax Associate role involves assisting in the preparation and filing of various tax returns including corporate, employer, individual, association, and limited liability partnership tax returns. The position requires preparing tax computations, ensuring accurate and timely submission to the tax authorities, managing client communications regarding tax compliance, handling tax audits and queries, and supporting ad hoc tasks as necessary. Additionally, the role includes developing and maintaining client relationships, addressing client concerns, coordinating with other departments, and conducting fieldwork at client locations as needed.
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
Minimum 1 - 2 years of relevant tax experiences.
Required language: English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Mandarin is an added advantage as this role need to handle Mandarin speaking clients.
Possess good tax knowledge.
Good management, planning and organizing skills.
Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with people.
