Team Lead, Finance - Record to Report (GL) at Giant Malaysia - Selangor

The Team Lead, Finance - Record to Report (GL) is responsible for overseeing the delivery of end-to-end R2R processes within an offshore accounting support service centre. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining strong financial controls while developing a high-performing team.

In this role, you will manage daily operations related to general ledger activities, month-end and year-end close processes, and financial reporting. You will work in a dynamic environment that emphasizes efficiency and service excellence, guiding your team to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of general ledger activities.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supervise fixed asset accounting.
• Prepare and present financial reports.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing R2R team.
• Maintain strong financial controls and compliance.
• Drive process efficiency and service excellence.
