Role Summary
The Manager, Accounting Support Services is responsible for establishing and leading an offshore accounting support services centre. This role involves building a team from the ground up and managing end-to-end deliverables while providing direct accounting support as needed.

In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the accounting support services centre, ensuring effective delivery of accounting operations. You will leverage your technical expertise and leadership skills to manage a diverse team and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and lead the offshore accounting support services centre.
- Build and manage a high-performing accounting team.
- Oversee end-to-end accounting deliverables and ensure compliance with standards.
- Provide direct accounting support where required.
- Implement best practices in financial reporting and compliance.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to enhance performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align accounting operations with business goals.
Job Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA) strongly preferred.
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Proven track record in setting up or managing an offshore/shared service accounting team.
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Hands-on, detail-oriented, with ability to balance leadership and operational responsibilities.
