The Manager, Accounting Support Services is responsible for establishing and leading an offshore accounting support services centre. This role includes building the team from the ground up, managing end-to-end deliverables, and providing direct accounting support where required. The manager combines strong technical accounting expertise with leadership and operational management skills to oversee the effective delivery of accounting operations.
Job Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA) strongly preferred.
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Proven track record in setting up or managing an offshore/shared service accounting team.
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance standards.
Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and lead effective teams.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Hands-on, detail-oriented, with ability to balance people leadership and operational responsibilities.
Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and strong MS Excel skills.
