The Thunderhead/Jasper Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining business application and reporting components with a focus on Thunderhead Smart Communications and JasperReports. This role involves translating business specifications into detailed technical designs, designing reusable templates and components, creating high-quality parameterized reports, and ensuring adherence to development guidelines and best practices.
Job Requirements
Strong knowledge of Thunderhead Smart Communications and JasperReports.
Ability to translate business specifications into technical designs.
Experience designing reusable templates and components for scalability and maintainability.
Ability to create and maintain parameterized reports integrating with Java backends and external data sources.
Knowledge of system development lifecycle, coding standards, and best practices.
Experience working with frontend/backend developers, analysts, vendors, and business users.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
Familiarity with XML and JSON data formats and integrating reporting modules with APIs and databases.
Experience with version control tools such as SVN.
Ability to support build and deployment processes using tools like Maven and Jenkins.
Skill in troubleshooting issues during SIT, UAT, and production rollout.
Awareness of technology trends and commitment to continuous improvement in output management and reporting processes.
