Business architect

Mar 10, 2026

Pros

Recognition is good. Work-life balance is average. Projects are interesting.

Cons

No pay rise for 5 years now. Don't expect one. The management will do everything in their power to not give you one, despite recognition awards and meeting every deadline and target. Expect to spend days doing "side of desk" rubbish that bears no relation to your role or skillset, but if you don't do one, they'll use it as a reason to withhold a pay rise. Now forced to work back in the office despite the entire workforce being able to work from home effectively, securely and more efficiently in my opinion.
