It pays well enough, and as a nomadic citizen I can work remotely for clients around the country.
Management is nonexistent, so visibility of efforts or growth are not recognized. A lot of US based talent is being phased out, as offshore talent is cheaper for the company. Some contracts are so fast paced and workload heavy, just to bring in "support" to manage what you've built and they can move you somewhere else. Such is the consulting way, but it would be nice to set roots with a client after building trust and putting in so much effort. Additionally, no raises or promotions in my entire time at the company, which is common for Accenture now.

Gain experience and skills based on your previous performance and skills, even not related to the job, because it isually is a internal promotion so you are assessed under what you have done in the project, not on your previous experiences.
Low salary. No salary increase per year - it can take a couple of years to get the increase: in 5 years at Accenture I got 2 salary increases, and this is globally for Accenture, as it goes for levels... if a L13 gets their 7% salary increase, the L12 and L11, L10 etc also will get (not sure about higher management though...)
