Lack of career development, lack of leadership. Overall, it was a very Toronto focused company.

They will “ask” you for extra hours if you want to keep your job Your job should be more important than family When all the pressure kicks in, you will no longer be serviceable for them

Basic starting salary, working shifts 24/7, perhaps working during holidays, often the workload is very intense

They don’t pay their employees fair compared to other temp agencies that my company hire through. They don’t offer PTO or holiday pay like the others do. And their benefits are an absolute joke. They pay for nothing at all.

With any large firm, things are always changing depending on the market, economy, leadership in place, etc. At the time, we had a revolving door for our executive leadership. To be fair, it was during the pandemic, and it was clear that they weren't getting the support that they needed to support their teams. Mid-levels did their best with restructuring our business and unfortunately at the time land locked several performers into specific functions to focus on stability which stunted recruiters growth and ultimately impacted the bottom line.
