Operations engineer
you can handle many tasks because size of the team of employees is usually very small.
you will feel bored after working in the company for one year. very low opportunity to grow.
Engineer
Great global company with several business units that provide opportunity for lateral moves and advancement. A growing and transforming HR group that did not exist in the past is adding more and more opportunity and perks for employees.
Work-life balance could be improved.
Manager
Brand value is good, however it is example of a sinking ship
Poor HR and senior management. Too much of mistrust between manager and employee
Anonymous employee
-Excellent career growth and training opportunities -Excellent benefits -Wide range of products/niches, with constant innovation
-Poor resource management leading to bad work/life balance
Estimator
Work life balance is good
Salary is not good compared to industry standerd
Production director
Nice people, good environment, safety is the first priority
Too much work load, too many changes, system is complicated
Lpr
Global company, flexible and diverse group of colleagues
Limited to growth in some departments, salary not always attractive
Sales/business development
Industry technology leader, high potential for investment in innovation, above average benefits for the industry, good engineering mentoring programs, excellent R&D facilities
Very political, outdated infrastructure / systems, bureaucracy & processes which are difficult to manage. High attrition in certain business areas. Several managers appear to have been chosen for pedigree over relevant experience & people skills. Managers rotate through positions in 3 years or less leading to short term decision making with shallow focus on P&L and stock price with no consequences for poor results after they have left the position. Line employees disconnected from long-term vision. Poor assimilation of acquired businesses into parent company (diminishing their prior potential). HR department suffers from high turnover and seen to be ignorant or downright dismissive of lower-line employee issues
Customer service representative
nice colleagues to work with
poor man management from management destroying good working culture lack of opportunities for progression
Project controls manager
Takes care of their employees.
Can be more organized about tasks.
